ABP - Assured British Pigs

For the last 4 years teams of PAI Inspectors have inspected Pig Farms throughout England and Wales to the national standard and in the process have developed a deep and sympathetic understanding of a pig farmer's needs.

PAI is one of three certifiers in the UK, newly-appointed to undertake certification to the Assured British Pig Standard, and is one of the largest certifiers.

All the PAI pig farm inspectors have long experience of pig farming themselves, and have identified very strongly with the pig industry as it encountered the successive difficulties of swine fever and foot and mouth disease.

PAI's back-up staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, and will be only too pleased to help with any queries or difficulties you have.

Under the new regime, PAI intend to price highly-competitively and with more experience than any of the other certifiers in pig farm auditing. With a continuing commitment to excellent service, PAI intend to maintain their established links with pig farmers.

Furthermore, for pig farmers that have other enterprises such as livestock, cereals and produce, PAI can combine audits to Red Tractor (AFS) standards for much-reduced fees.
